The 13th edition of Pink Sailing was a great success, a sailing event that for thirteen years has combined the passion for sailing with an important social commitment.
Over two splendid days, characterized by 15-knot mistral winds and calm seas, more than 20 boats covered approximately 12 miles of coastal regattas, with the picturesque Sparviero Islet as a backdrop.
Indeed, Pink Sailing is not just a sporting event: it is above all a message against violence against women and concrete support for the non-profit organization “365 giorni al femminile” (365 Days for Women), which is daily committed to helping those living in difficult situations.
Each boat, with at least two Pink Ladies on board, reminded us that sailing can be much more than a sport: it can become a tool for raising awareness, solidarity, and hope.
The event continues to be a fixed and heartfelt appointment thanks to the dedication of Lucia Capitani, Luciana Cedrini, and Manuela Grassi, who with passion and commitment make this great pink wave of solidarity possible year after year.
